Indic Roman Transliteration (SIL) Keyboard Help

The plus (+) means these keystrokes are typed successively. For example, "^ + a" means you would type "^" followed by "a" to get "â".

As this keyboard is intended for transliteration, combining marks on consonants are not supported.

â Ê	^ + a ^ + E	For circumflex accent, type '^' before any vowel
á ś	' + a ' + s	For acute accent/high tone, type ['] before vowel or 's'
â	` + a	For grave accent/low tone, type [`] before vowel
ã	~ + a	For nasal vowels, type '~' before vowel
ä	" + a	For dieresis/umlaut, type ["] before vowel
ā	- + a	For long vowels, type '-' before vowel
ṅ ẏ	> + n > + y	For overdot, type '>' before consonant
ṭ ṛ ṃ	. + t . + r . + m	For underdot, type '.' before consonant

To type any of the accent/diacritics itself, simply type it twice.
